The AIR DM 19V ATEX is a compressed-air industrial vacuum cleaner designed to vacuum dust, solids, and solids mixed with liquids – even in hazardous or explosion-risk environments where electric power is not allowed or not recommended.
The “ATEX” designation means this vacuum is certified for use in ATEX Z22 potentially explosive atmospheres. The AIR DM 19V ATEX meets safety standards for dust/gas hazardous environments (e.g. Zone 22 for dust), ensuring it’s built and grounded to prevent static, sparks, or ignition sources.
The vacuum uses a maintenance-free Venturi unit powered by compressed air – no electrical motor – to generate suction. This makes it suitable for environments where electricity is either unavailable or unsafe.
Key specs: 26 gal (100-liter) detachable stainless steel container; maximum airflow 273.7CFM (465 m³/h); maximum water lift (vacuum power) up to 196.9 inH2O (5000 mmH₂O); suction inlet diameter 3in (80 mm); noise level approx. 74 dB(A); weight 176lb (80 kg)
It uses an antistatic polyester “star” filter (class M / antistatic) suitable for dust, solids, and mixed materials. A manual filter-shaker mechanism allows cleaning the filter without dispersing dust, ensuring consistent suction performance. An HEPA H14 filter adds an extra level of safety – 99.995% efficiency.
It’s especially useful where there is a risk of combustible or explosive dust or where electricity is restricted – e.g. chemical or pharmaceutical plants, metalworking shops, shipyards, maintenance in hazardous zones, or any environment handling dust/solids with explosion risk.
